PLANT TALK – The Ficus advocates good company and safe surroundings as the recipe for healing

Sometimes these messages from the trees are a bit obscure. I get the piece about safety and good company – but what is this ficus trying to say about healing? Perhaps it is normalizing pain and looking at the bigger picture. Yes, that’s what trees have to offer: a taller perspective. But I need more than safety and comfort to feel better—don’t I? Perhaps if I had this many roots life would be more stable. But simply looking at these roots makes me feel more stable, and if I am open to the support of good company my pain may eventually recede into growth.
